We are hiring a Nanny (with housekeeping duties) – 75% (Permanent contract) – Geneva (1208)
A private family based in Geneva (1208) is looking for an experienced, caring and proactive nanny to care for their 5-month-old baby. The role also includes housekeeping tasks, while childcare remains the main priority.
Start date: May 1st, 2026 (with an adaptation period in April)
Work rate: 75% – permanent contract
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (25 hours per week)
Housekeeping: approximately 4–5 hours per week (light household tasks)
Salary: CHF 26–27 gross per hour (depending on profile)
Responsibilities:
- Full care of a 5-month-old baby
- Understanding and responding to the baby’s needs (sleep, feeding, hygiene)
- Walks and age-appropriate activities
- Following the daily routine set by the parents
- Housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, general upkeep – mainly related to the child)
Profile:
- Proven experience with babies under 1 year old
- Strong understanding of infant needs
- Calm, gentle and attentive personality
- Care skills (sleep routines, feeding, hygiene, basic first aid knowledge is a plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow parents’ guidelines and respect their parenting style
- Proactive mindset: able to take initiative while knowing when to check with parents
Languages:
- Good communication skills in English and French required
- Italian or Russian is a plus
