LIVE-OUT NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER – PERMANENT 45% POSITION

English-speaking – Geneva, Florissant – Starting Saturday, 26 September 2026

BeeBoo is looking for an experienced, reliable, dynamic and flexible live-out nanny / housekeeper for a mother living in Geneva, to care for her 4-year-old daughter and take over from the main nanny during the weekend.

The family recently relocated to Geneva after living in London.

This is a stable, permanent position at approximately 45%, mainly concentrated over the weekend, with a short shift on Monday morning.

The successful candidate will work as part of a two-nanny team, alongside another nanny who looks after the family during the week. Excellent communication between both nannies is therefore essential to ensure seamless continuity in the child’s care and the organisation of the household.

The candidate must live in Geneva or in the immediate surrounding area in order to accommodate the weekend schedule and, in particular, the early Monday morning start.

She must hold a valid permit/status allowing her to work legally in Switzerland.

WORKING HOURS

SATURDAY

Approximately 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The main nanny finishes her week at around 2:00 pm, and the weekend nanny takes over from 3:00 pm.

SUNDAY

Approximately 8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Care of the child and support with the general organisation of the household throughout the day.

MONDAY MORNING

6:30 am – 8:00 am

The nanny will be responsible for the child’s morning routine and ensuring that she is ready for her school minibus at 7:20 am.

The main nanny then resumes her duties from 8:00 am.

The final schedule and exact organisation of the position will be agreed with the family in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

WORKING AS A TEAM

The candidate will work alongside Garnise, the family’s main nanny, who looks after the child and household during the week.

The family is therefore looking for someone with a genuine team spirit.

Clear and consistent communication between both nannies is essential to ensure a smooth handover regarding:

• the child and her daily routine;
• meals;
• activities and appointments;
• laundry and household organisation;
• any instructions from the mother;
• the cats;
• and more generally, any information required to ensure seamless continuity between both nannies.

The family would like both professionals to be able to communicate easily, support one another and work as a genuine team.

CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate’s responsibilities will include:

• caring for a 4-year-old girl;
• managing morning and evening routines;
• preparing meals and snacks;
• organising age-appropriate activities;
• arranging outings, games, park visits and educational activities;
• ensuring the child’s well-being and safety;
• preparing her belongings when required;
• managing the Sunday evening routine;
• preparing the child on Monday morning;
• ensuring she is ready for her school minibus at 7:20 am;
• independently taking over the child’s care when the mother is away.

HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES

The position also includes housekeeping responsibilities.

The candidate will contribute to:

• general household upkeep and tidying;
• laundry management and organisation;
• meal preparation;
• keeping living areas organised;
• preparing the child’s bedroom and belongings;
• carrying out various light household duties to maintain a clean and organised home.

The family also has cats.

The candidate must therefore be comfortable around animals and will be responsible for feeding the cats in the morning and evening when required.

TRAVEL WITH THE FAMILY

The candidate must be available to occasionally accompany the family when travelling.

She must therefore:

• hold a valid passport;
• have a status allowing her to travel with the family;
• be able to travel, particularly within Europe and to mountain destinations;
• have sufficient flexibility to occasionally accompany the mother and child on trips.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate who:

• has solid experience caring for young children, ideally around 4 years old;
• has previous experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper within a private family;
• speaks English with a good level of communication;
• lives in Geneva or the immediate surrounding area;
• holds a valid permit/status allowing her to work in Switzerland;
• is available every weekend according to the required schedule;
• can start work at 6:30 am on Monday mornings;
• is willing to stay overnight at the family’s home on Sunday night when required;
• does not need to drive or own a car;
• is available to travel occasionally with the family;
• holds a valid passport;
• is warm, caring and attentive with children;
• is extremely reliable and punctual;
• is proactive, independent and well organised;
• is flexible;
• is comfortable with general household duties;
• is comfortable around cats;
• has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a nanny team.

The family is looking for someone who wishes to commit to the position on a long-term basis and who can build a trusting relationship with the child, the mother and the main nanny.
