We Are Hiring a Native English-Speaking Nanny – Part-Time (50–70%) – Long-Term Position – Hermance, Geneva
A warm and welcoming family based in Hermance (Geneva, Switzerland) is looking for an experienced, caring, dynamic, and educationally minded English-speaking nanny to care for their three children (12-year-old twins and a 9-year-old girl). This is a long-term position with a strong focus on naturally teaching and reinforcing English in daily life.
Preferred Start Date:
Ideally starting on August 10th, 2026, in order to care for the children during the last week of the school holidays (extra hours will be paid), followed by the regular schedule from August 17th, 2026.
Contract:
Permanent contract (CDI equivalent) – long-term position
Working Hours:
• Approximately 19 hours of childcare per week
• Possibility to increase the workload to approximately 29 hours/week if the candidate is also interested in helping with additional housekeeping duties
Schedule:
• Monday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Flexibility for occasional evening babysitting would be appreciated.

Main Responsibilities:
• Speak exclusively in English with the children to encourage natural language acquisition
• Organize educational and age-appropriate activities
• Drive the children to extracurricular activities
• Use the family car for children’s transportation
• Prepare evening meals and assist with the overall organization of the household
• Handle daily household tasks such as laundry, tidying up, and light household maintenance
• Ensure smooth and structured evening routines in a caring environment
Profile Required:
• Proven experience with school-aged children
• Native English speaker or perfectly bilingual – mandatory
• Warm, reliable, dynamic, organized, and educationally minded
• Able to naturally support children’s English learning on a daily basis
• Valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable assisting with family household organization
• Flexible and responsible
Salary:
CHF 26 to CHF 28 gross per hour, depending on profile and experience
